This sodium lamp was developed especially for garden centres and greenhouses, it delivers effective light for plants and is perfectly suitable for the hemp cultivation!

The main colour spectrum of the Osram Plantastar 400 W is in the red and yellow range, which is required for the bloom periode.

The lamp has 55000 lumen and compared to an usual sodium lamp this one has a brighter colour spectrum at one's disposal - (30-40 % more proportion of blue towards Vialox-series). This will bring shorter production periods and healthier plants.

For the usage of a lamp you will need a suitable ballast - (HPS) - and an E40 socket.

Caution:

Never ever touch the lamp with your bare hands on the glass. Body fat can affect the intensity and lifetime of the lamp!
